This week we take a look at the Pathmark in Folsom, Pennsylvania. This store opened as a ShopRite in 1967, and became a Pathmark in 1968-- making this store one of the oldest Pathmarks that made it to the end. This Pathmark was one of the first 25 to go under in 2015, closing on September 4th.

A typical Pathmark facade that was released with the Go Fresh & Local decor package prior to the acquisition by A&P in 2007. I always particularly liked this decor package because of the wide variety of signage, similar to Acme's new Quality Built decor.
A look at the exterior quick. Notice anything strange? Yep, it's that Bank of America sign in the upper right corner. This is one of the few Pathmarks out there that I remember having a bank, or other in-store amenity. These photos Catnapped took were prior to the store's closing-- around a week, to be exact.
Produce department still going strong with a week to go. Notice how the floor here 'reflects' the ceiling. Absolutely a stunning look, but is a pain to get rid of. Stop & Shop didn't even try in their acquired stores.
Close-up of the Produce Market sign here. Absolutely stunning with the spotlights above it. This decor package is like the aesthetics of Acme's Quality Built, but the lighting of Acme's PF&H; possibly even A&P's Fresh 3.0 decor.
Chesapeake Seafood Co. being slightly blurred here because of the green wall beside it. Seafood department already closed up here, but packaged seafood remains.
Some wonderful word cloud walls here. A really neat, but rather plain idea. Floors are looking slightly weathered over here. Meat operations haven't closed up yet. But hey, a full-service butcher! What's not to love?
Pharmacy along the front corner with a large store closing sale sign. 60% off cosmetics and spices... I could go for that. Unfortunately, I missed all of A&P's store closing sales.
A look along the front end line. Pretty busy for a Wednesday.
A look in the 60% off aisle. Odd placement of the beams here. Seems like it would've been better if this was the grand aisle. I don't think you can fit a cart around here.
I don't know what's to be more desired here, the fact that they're America's Choice products, or some really classic candies... Or is it both?
59th Street Deli looking fresh still. This had to be one of the best features in the Go Fresh & Local decor package. Some stores that got the deluxe version even had neon lights.

Topping out at 20 aisles, this store is pretty big. Surprising that Pathmark lasted so long in Folsom. There's tons of competition nearby, including a rather deluxe Acme.
A close-up of a classic Pathmark self-checkout / front-end setup. The checkouts here were left over from the 'Path to Savings' decor most likely.
